Bill lives in Devon and travels extensively throughout the South West. He also spends some time every year abroad, working with polo ponies and race-horses in Kenya and show-jumpers in Spain. Bill has been involved with horses most of his life and currently owns three horses. Lennox is a chestnut Hanoverian/Hackney cross gelding that Bill rides in dressage and also takes hunting. Bruno is a striking Welsh section D gelding that Bill does "everything" with, including riding club competition. And there's also Brooke, a gorgeous Hackney stallion that Bill rides and drives, and Gentle the handsome Belgian warmblood. Bill is pictured above taking a well-earned break with his faithful dog Wilf and Lennox.

Bill trained as an equine dental technician in the United States, before making the move to Devon from the South East of England. Since then his practice has continued to grow, and his reputation has spread widely. In June 2005, Bill was featured in "Equestrian Now - South West", under the headline "It's all in a day's work for Bill, the globe-trotting equine dentist." Bill travels to Kenya every year for a horse-back safari - but this is much more than a holiday - Bill spends at least three days of his break tending to equine teeth!

Bill shares his love of horses (and his professional interest in dentistry) with his wife Emma Saunders (BDHA), a qualified dental hygienist.

Bill's calm and quiet approach is much appreciated by his clients (both equine and human)! Judy Reddan of The Grange Equestrian Centre in Okehampton was delighted when Bill succesfully treated one of their horses that had previously presented a severe challenge. Thanks to Bill's patience the horse, which had always had to be sedated prior to treatment, can now be treated without any medication.

Bill issues a full dental chart for every horse treated. CLICK HERE TO SEE AN EXAMPLE
